Lester A. Haughton Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester A. Haughton of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Lester may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lester touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Haughton and Emelita Haughton. He is survived by: his wife Thelma; and his son Byron. He is also survived by three granddaughters, three great grandchildren: three brothers, two sisters, and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Port Charlotte Seventh Day Adventist Church (2036 Loveland Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33980). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cemetery RestLawn Memorial Gardens (1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33949-4696).
