He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roe Francis and Phyllis Mae Francis (Forshey); and his grandson Oliver Francis. He is survived by: his wife Doris Francis (Mickey); his children, James Francis Jr. (Shannon), Justin Francis (April), Heather and Michael Francis (Videlia); his grandchildren, Levon, Ivy, Paige, Everleigh and Maverick; and his sister Susan Salina (Francis).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it was Jim's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations which can be made to The Tap Room in Hebron, where on October 19, they will be holding a benefit event for Jim's.
