He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roe Francis and Phyllis Mae Francis (Forshey); and his grandson Oliver Francis. He is survived by: his wife Doris Francis (Mickey); his children, James Francis Jr. (Shannon), Justin Francis (April), Heather and Michael Francis (Videlia); his grandchildren, Levon, Ivy, Paige, Everleigh and Maverick; and his sister Susan Salina (Francis).
In lieu of flowers, it was Jim's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations which can be made to The Tap Room in Hebron, where on October 19th they will be holding a benefit event for Jim's medical expenses.
