He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Mary Ella Taylor; his son Larry; and his sons-in-law, Bill Gaines and Steve Weaver.

He is survived by: his wife Tena; his brother Alfred Taylor (Diane); and his children, Kimberly Wasserman (Michael), Carol Weaver, Michael Taylor, Christopher Taylor (Michelle) and Anthony Taylor (Meghan). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
