He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Richard and Marie Richard (McGuire); his wife Jean Richard (Lyons); his sister Patricia Jones; his daughter-in-law Susan Armstrong Richard; and his grandson Graham Hartman.
He is survived by: his children, Charles W. Richard III (Wytske Kingma), Chris Richard, Megan Richard, Melissa Kahui (Craig), Tami Richard, Dave Richard (Denise), Trisha Richard and Jennifer Richard. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County or Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity.
