Bette E. Liebler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette E. Liebler of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. and Mary E. Elvington; her husband William M. Liebler; her friend Angela Castagnoli; her sister Ann Chase Hooper; and her children, Michael R. Liebler and Mary Rose Murrin.
She is survived by: her children, William Liebler (Leslie) of Stone Lake, Susan E. Liebler of East Hartford, CT, Linda A. Hunt of Hillsboro, OR, Barbara E. Kennedy (John "Jake") of Colchester, CT and Elizabeth "Beth" Bennett (Keith) of Punta Gorda, FL; her daughter-in-law Marjorie Whitmore (Michael R.) of East Hartford, CT.; her sister Kelly; and also Debra "Debbie" Pettigrew of Westfield, MA. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in Bette's name to Food for the Poor, Inc, the organization she supported, located at 6401 Lyons Rd, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073-3602.
