He is survived by: his sister Nellie Drost (John); his children, James Heemskerk (Sue), Kathleen Van Vynckt, William Heemskerk (Colleen), Carolyn Clark (Kyle), Timothy Heemskerk, Christine Martin (Kevin) and Kimberly Seipenko (Todd); his grandchildren, William, Crystal, Ryan, Bradley, Kara, Nathan, Darin, Jonathan, Ashley, Christopher, Chelsea, Maxwell, Mason and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Janessa, Braden, Sawyer, Rylynn, Shea, Arabella, Hunter, Raymond, Cody and Emmett.
