He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Samodai and Esther Samodai; his wife Gizella; and his siblings, Paul, Julius, Helen, Irene, Isabelle and Regina.

He is survived by: his daughter Michaelene "Mickey" of Port St. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to either St. Lucie Catholic Church or Southeast Florida Honor Flight.
