He is survived by: his mother Margaret Hatala Elwood of Murphy; his siblings, Rebecca Haemmerlein of Arlington, Kelly Ward (Steven) of Schuylerville and David E. Pickrell Jr. (Francine) of Blairsville, Georgia; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
