We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 93, Marilyn Elaine Anason in Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marilyn Elaine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Anason; and her parents, Erwin Schroen and Ruth Schroen (Ludwig). She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Lynn Anason, MD, Anthony Mark Anason (Sharon), Roger Matthew Anason (Juanita) and David James Anason (Stacey); and her sister Judith Anne Washburn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
