She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Miller and Shirley Miller (Herring); her husband Roland; and her siblings, Jimmy Herring and Debbie Bottorff (Miller).

She is survived by: her children, Toni Miller-Ramirez (Humberto), Shannon Miller (Tierra), Carrie Hashmi (Mobeen), Monica Gault (Ernie), Melissa Stuart (Bob) and Mary Hughes (David). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.
