He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Reds" Doran and Ethel Doran; his siblings-in-law, Gerard Scola (late Joanie), John Scola (Sue) and Frankie Scola; his nephews, Brian Green and Shane McGoldrick; and also Lillian T. Doran.
He is survived by: his children, Jaclyn, James, Jr. and James III; his sisters, Barb Green (Henry), Margaret McGoldrick (Patrick) and Kelli Holt (John); his siblings-in-law, Georgann Read (late Robert), Helen Scola and Angelo Scola (Renie); and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Dougherty (Sean) and Caitlyn McGoldrick (Roger).
