He was predeceased by: his parents, Amil Gene Goschke and June Berniece Goschke (Newell); and his sister Junean E. Witham Grady. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Berrier of Port St; his children, Douglas Amil Goschke (Marianne) of Tiffin, IA, Eric Blomme (Tracy) of Kalona, IA, Samantha Wiese (Eric) of New Liberty, IA, Tony Blomme (Annette) of Camanche, IA and Chandra Goschke of Kalona, IA; his grandchildren, Carah Reimer, Douglas Wiese, Alex Meister, Thomas Blomme, Matthew Blomme, Robert Wiese, Harper Goschke and Mia Goschke; and his sisters, Pamela Goschke (Tim Meyer) of Amana, IA and Sue Gravert (Gary) of Albia, IA.
Doug made profound differences with his contributions to Mid-Prairie High School, from smaller donations in the beginning to support Mid-Prairie's indoor facility, to a larger starter donation towards a new high school auditorium, along with two scholarship funds for students.
