She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Guy and Florence Eleanor James of Cleveland, OH; and her son Dennis James Jenks. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Dean Jenks, III (Marcia Madden), Gary "Scott" Jenks (Perry Benson III) and Cynthia Ann Archibald (John); and her sister Donna Ann (Alonzo) Herron.
