She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Carr and Beatrice Carr. She is survived by: her husband Christoper Bowen; and her children, Kenneth Scott Jr. (Deanna), Keivone Bowen, Davione Bowen and Nakiyah Bowen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in honor of Denise Evette Bowen.
