He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvis Trude and Corolyn Trude. He is survived by: his family Steven; his wife Mary; his sons, Bryan Michael of Commerce, Georgia and Jonathon Raymond (Casey); and his grandchildren, Henley of Chesapeake, Virginia. and Avalon of Chesapeake, Virginia..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Steven's name to be made to the PKD Foundation.
