He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Munsey and Willie Maxine Munsey. He is survived by: his children, Bill, Chad and Kellye.
During his remaining years, he enjoyed attending and volunteering at church, fishing, working on hobbies such as model airplanes and N gauge trains, donating platelets (well over 125 gallons), telling "sea stories", and working on the restoration of aircraft at the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum in Titusville.
