It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol R. Childress of Port Saint John, Florida, born in Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Terry Ricks and Pauline Ricks; her sisters, Rita Cobb of Kentucky and Susan Young (Kevin Young) of Louisiana; her children, Amy Scarane (Larry) and Ernie Lawrence (Marlene); her daughter-in-law Pam Childress; her grandchildren, Ashley Childress, Dylan Scarane, Hannah Childress, Morgan Childress and Hunter Childress; her husband Arnold "Jim" Childress; and her children, James "Ray" Childress and Cindy Childress. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
