He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McDaniel and Katherine McDaniel; his brother Dan McDaniel; his parents-in-law, Charles and Eloise Wood; and his brother-in-law Charles Wood, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Marie McDaniel; his children, Donna Schmitt (Larry), Lisa Pressley (Jerry), Cynthia Daniel (Gary) and Glenn McDaniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Donnie, Andrew, Makayla, Jarret, Mindy and Mandy; his sister-in-law Donna Wood; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
