With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert David Whitfield Sr. of Port Saint Joe, Florida, born in Overstreet, Florida, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Whitfield and Edith Whitfield; and his wife Lynda Whitfield. He is survived by: his children, David Whitfield (Becky), Laurel Riley (Marty), Leslie Lane (David) and Kim Hallmon (Hal); his grandchildren, Kheyndra Knowles (Josh), Korrie Hutto, Brittney Pippin, Katie Pippin, Philip Riley, Hannah Riley and Prince Brinson; his great grandchildren, Jacob Hutto, Sadie Creamer, Ellee Creamer, Brentley Creamer, Avery Knowles, Rhett Knowles, Tharen Abbott and Heaven Brinson; his siblings, Jean Fortner, Barbara Whitfield and Ted Whitfield (Kay); and his close friend Marsha Harper Burns.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe Building Fund in memory of Bob Whitfield Sr.
