He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pate and Annie Ansley Pate; his wife Evelyn Griner Pate; his grandson Justin Pate; and his siblings, Lamar Pate, Wesley Pate, Ann Pridgeon, Montez Graves, Ima Jean Weaver and Faye Cobb.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Pate (Jae) and Gary Pate; and his siblings, Ealon Dillashaw (Alex), Bobby Pate (Gerri) and Larry Pate. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe rebuilding fund in memory of Frank Pate.
