It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Everett Young of Port Saint Joe, Florida, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Young and Hazel Young; and his grandson Shane Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Gail Young; his children, Angie Hardy (Ian Hardy) and Michael Brandon (Rhonda Brandon); his grandchildren, Emerald Hardy, Briana Hardy, Reina Hardy, Connor Hardy, Katie Hoffman, Cameron Matthews and Sklyar Matthews; and his great grandchild James Hardy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (823 15th St, Mexico Beach, FL 32456).
