It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Kenneth Oakes formerly of Port Saint Joe, Florida, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Oakes, Jr. and Winnie Bazzell Oakes; and his brother John Wesley Oakes, III of Panama City, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Paula Aldridge-Oakes; his stepson Jeffrey David Wright (Oana); his grandsons, Layton and Colin of Sewickley, PA.; his nieces, Olivia Oakes of Leesburg, GA and Stephanie Pendley of Fort Deposit, AL; and his pets, Harley and Buddy. He is also survived by loving great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, dear friends, and neighbors, and his four-legged companions.
