In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Bookas; his daughter Maria Bookas Alexopoulos (Dimitris); his grandchildren, Rebecca and Yianni Alexopoulos; and his sister-in-law Olga Bookas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (9426 Little Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Port Richey, Florida.
