With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley M. Montemurro of Port Orange, Florida, born in Unadilla, New York, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gras and Thelma Eckerson Gras; her siblings, George, Gerald, Donald and Barbara Grimes; and her son-in-law Robert Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Montemurro (Susan) of Port Orange, FL, Nancy Stout of Hudson Falls and Lisa Towne (Kevin) of Greenwich; her sister Betsy Robinson; her siblings-in-law, Wilma Gras and Thomas Grimes; her grandchildren, Sam (Kelly), Wendy (Gil), Bryan (Elizabeth), Heather (Jarid), Jillian (Michael) and Michael (Erica); and her friend Constance Tilley. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
