“My brother Shawn Steele was the funny one. Even in his last days when he lost his hair he made a joke and called his self Shawnade O’Conner. He was very loving as well and would text our mom every day with the words I love you. My heart is broken. My heart hurts for our mom. A mother should never have to go through this. I’m angry,sad, and confused but I am also happy that he is no longer in pain. I love you Shawn.”
