With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Ray Sweeney of Port Orange, Florida, born in Daytona Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William Sweeney and Aldine Sweeney; his grandmother Sadie Willcutt; his son Warren Ray Sweeney; and his sister Patricia Alvord (Hanley).
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lou; his children, Sonya Denise, Robert Bryan and Mary Lou Sweeney; his siblings, Bill (Kathy Sweeney) of Holly Hill, FL and Ann Dragoo of Port Orange, FL.; his grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Warren, Will, Kiera and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Juliana and AJ.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Lohman Funeral Home (1201 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127).
