He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William Sweeney and Aldine Sweeney; his grandmother Sadie Willcutt; his son Warren Ray Sweeney; and his sister Patricia Alvord (Hanley).
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lou; his children, Sonya Denise, Robert Bryan and Mary Lou Sweeney; his siblings, Bill (Kathy Sweeney) of Holly Hill, FL and Ann Dragoo of Port Orange, FL.; his grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Warren, Will, Kiera and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Juliana and AJ.
