He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Sr Barbara and Sarah Barbara (Plain); and his brother James H. Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Pam (Scofield); his son Richard J. Jr. (Danielle); his grandsons, Richard J. III and Jack; his daughter Cheryl Fleming (Timothy); his grandchildren, Ashley Thacker (Douglas) and Michael Fleming (Britany); his great grandchildren, Corbin Quinn Fleming and Perry Lynne Thacker; and his sister-in-law Chris Moynihan (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Halifax Hospice, Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, or Alzheimers Association would be greatly appreciated.
