He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Tanguay Sr. and Mildred Challet; his wife Patricia; his children, Clarence Tanguay and Lorraine Tanguay; and his brother Dennis Tanguay.
He is survived by: his daughter Dorothy Beshara; his granddaughter Elizabeth Beshara of Westfield; and his siblings, Albert Tanguay of Bremerton, WA, Wayne Tanguay of Florence, Bruce Tanguay (Laurie) of Orange, Kevin Tanguay of Southampton, Carol Donovan (Berny) of Easthampton and Cindy Billieux (Michael) of Worthington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (15 Park St, Easthampton, MA 01027). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Center Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pulaski Club (79 Maple St, Easthampton, MA 01027).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Legion Post 270, 119 Howes St, Port Orange, FL 32127.
