He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Z. Cooper and Amelia B. Cooper (Gonsolley). He is survived by: his children, Karan Oleckna (Ken) of Pocono Pines, PA. and Richard M. Richardson of Goshen; his grandchildren, Trenton, Nicholas, Rob, Sara, Megan and Charlie; and his great grandchild Charlotte. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, and nieces and nephews.
