He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wilkens and Edna Wilkens (Bush); his spouse Ellyn Renkes; and his siblings, Robert Wilkens and Betty Rabbe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janelle Wohrley (Jim), Kimberly Wilkens and Lisa Groharing (Andrew); his half-brothers, Tom Wilkens (Karrie) and Terry Wilkens (Rachelle); and his stepdaughter Amelia Pappalardo (Dominic). He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
