She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Smith and Sammie Nelloise Scribner (Nell); and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Stuart; her daughter Keisha Rice; her son-in-law Travis Rice; her daughters, Elissa Haskins (Paul) and Sarah Powers; her son-in-law Michael Powers; her grandchildren, Brianna Rice, Noah Rice, Jacob Rice, Janelle Powers and Jeffrey Powers; and her sisters, Sharon, Sharlotte, Lisa, Lori, Debra (Debbie), Trisha and Angela. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives.
