He is survived by: his parent Thelma Darlene Oliver McDowell; his wife Teri Dale Bennett McDowell; his children, Robert D. McDowell Jr (Amanda), Tammy Renee Hudson (Scott) of El Cajon, CA, Shelley Dawn Johnson (Steve) of Dublin and Tiffany Michele McDowell of Cincinnati; his brother Richard McDowell Jr. of Portsmouth; and also Myrtle. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
