She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Fyffe (Hartman) and Albert Ashton Fyffe; her brother Lamont Fyffe; and her husband James D. Sands. She is survived by: her brother Duane Fyffe; and her children, Karen Stahlman (John), James Haigler (Kim Womack) and Richard Haigler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her memory to the Republican National Party.
