He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Assunto and Anne Assunto; his wife Janet Assunto; and his brother Anthony Assunto. He is survived by: his son John Assunto; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Assunto of Connecticut; his daughter Jayanne Sindt; his son-in-law Jim Sindt of Port Charlotte, FL; his grandchildren, Nicholas Assunto, Natalie Assunto and Giovanni Assunto of Connecticut; and his siblings, Joseph Assunto, Richard Assunto and Patricia Galbraith.
