With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irna Hofner of Port Charlotte, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her significant other Richard Bennett; her siblings, Shirley Harter, Gerald and Kenneth Harkless; and her grandson Kent McCarthy Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gary Scharf (Lisa), Steve Scharf (Denise), Wendy McCarthy, Amy Leineke and Stacie Sherman (Lee); her close friend Patricia Coulter (Robert); and her grandchildren, Sharrise McCarthy, Kyle Scharf, Josh McCarthy, Ryan Scharf, Christopher Scharf, Tyler Scharf, Courtney Leineke, Kirstin Leineke, Jarrett Sherman and Darian Sherman.
