With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Acosta of Port Charlotte, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Hermes Jurado-Rivera (Ana Lopez-Ortiz); her husband Juan Manuel Acosta; her children, Miguel Antonio, Christina Nicole Garcia (Matthew) and Anamaria Carmen; her grandchildren, Isabella Nicole, Myniah Carmen, Laylah Teresa, Miguel Antonio Jr. and Cesare Jacob; her siblings, Ana Evelyn Jurado, Benjamin Jurado (Ruth), John Jurado and Maria Felicita Jurado; her nieces and nephews, Benjamin "Junito" Jurado Jr., Melissa Rochelle Cicero, Danny Otero Jurado, Taylor Cierra Lopez, Dimaisha Jurado and Dominique Romanita Lopez; her mother-in-law Maria Carmen Acosta; her sister-in-law Maria Carmen Torres (Benjamin); her nieces and nephews, Carmen Bernadette Hopper (Dennis), Enrique Jose Fajardo (Melissa), Michael Benjamin Torres and Jennifer Saunders (Joe); and her mother Ana Lopez-Ortiz.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Deep Creek Community Church (1500 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Charlotte Harbor Cemetery (4410 Church St, Port Charlotte, FL 33980).
