He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hastey and Johnnie Hastey; and his siblings, Albert Hastey, Luther Hastey, Mae White, Lutie Alexander, Frances Luten, Lil Scarborough and Mary Alice Bolton.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Hastey; his children, Lynn Leeper, Lea Duffy (Pete), Cathy Royal (Harry), Charlie Leeper (Cam) and Ann Leeper (Lisa); his grandchildren, Donnie Leeper, Chad Grace, Justin Leeper, David Netti, Carol Seward, Cynthia Kennison, Julie Seward, Kim Prescott and Kathleen Royal; his sisters, Jean Hayes and Helen Doster; and his friend Bobby Dawson. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
