It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Helen Shires of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McLaughlin and Lucy McLaughlin; and her brothers, James, Robert, Richard and Paul.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Ray Shires; her sons, William Lee (Lori), Robert Lee (Melinda) and Brian Lee (Melissa); and her stepsons, Elmer Ray Shires, Jr., Anthony Shires (Sandy) and Eddie Alan Shires (Nancy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that, donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
