He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Dunford and Norma Dunford (Vollrath); his daughter Karen Dunford Reilly (John); his brother Richard J. Dunford; and his brother-in-law Don.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Dunford (Weigel); his son Robert J Dunford (Ruth Ann); his grandsons, Robert P Dunford (Carly), James P. Dunford (Leanne) and Brian D. Reilly; his great grandchildren, Ella of Shelton, Jack of Shelton, Miles of Shelton, James of Shelton and Henry Dunford of Shelton; his brother Dennis T. Dunford; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Dunford of Erie, PA and Carol Walters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
