He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Davies Levis and Richard Levis Sr.; his sister June; his niece Lee Ann; his son Richard Kelly; and also Janet Mendelson Everhart.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas, John and Heather; the mother of his children Barbara Newton Levis; his daughter Holly Levis Dolan; and his grandchildren, Julia, Samantha and Lianna.
