Lynda Skinner Zehmer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 73, Lynda Skinner Zehmer (Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lynda Skinner may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nell Schwalls Skinner and R. H. Skinner of Swainsboro, Georgia.; her husband John H. Zehmer; her sons, Anthony A. Hirst, IV (Marc), Sean H. Zehmer and Alexander S. Zehmer; and her granddaughters, Teagan Hirst and Tatiana Hirst.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (400 San Juan Dr, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082).
