It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lawrence Phinney in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Phinney and Mary Phinney; his grandchild Whitney; and his siblings, John and Eleanor Garten.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Lowry Phinney; his children, Michael of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin, Joanne Parcells (Brad) of Atlanta, GA and Thomas (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC; his brother Richard (Eileen) of Weymouth, MA; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Phinney of Hingham, MA; and his grandchildren, Erin and Victoria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
