Merta (Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida), born in Lakefield, Minnesota, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard (Whitey); her sister Jeanne Beerman (Hecht); and her parents, Mary Hecht (Bezdicek) and Milton Hecht. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline (William), Randall (Lea Anne) and Robert (Gina); and her grandchildren, Nicholas (Lisa), Gregory (Lisa), Amy (Michael), Matthew (Jessica), Aubrie Anne, Danielle (Philip), Lindsay (Scott), Nika (Michael) and Kendra (Alexander). She is also survived by 25 Great Grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rosary Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (545 A1A N #545, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (545 A1A N #545, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Prayers or Masses be offered up for the repose of her soul.
