She was predeceased by: her parents, Nehemiah White and Emeline White; her sisters, Beverly, Iva and Icilda; her husband Kenneth L. Dixon; her son Lloyd "Boy Blue"; and her grandchildren, Tisha and Dexion.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne, Ainsley (Carlene), Everton, Cordette, Lynden, Gweneth (Will), Jaseth and Kenneth, Jr. (Aldith). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
