He was predeceased by: his parents, Meyer Schachnovsky and Sylvia Schachnovsky. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Amy Valerio (Peter) of Shanghai and John Schachnovsky (Carmen) of Bangkok; his grandchildren, Mikey, Meadow and Cole; and his pets, Iki, Samson, King, Luke and Bir. He is also survived by cousins and many, many close friends.
