He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stone and Vester Stone; and his siblings, Jack, O'Neal Stone and Lounette Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Stone; his daughter Amanda Collins; his sisters, Betty Miller and Irma Dion (Armand); and his close friends, Willard and Jeanette Simmons. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three nieces; six nephews.
