She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Saunders and Annie Ruth Hawkins Saunders; and her brother John R. Saunders III. She is survived by: her brothers, Michael Saunders (Linda) of Dallas and Joe Saunders of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and her sons, Jonathan Smith (Melissa) of Ponce, Kevin Ammons (Alecia) of Ponce and Dennis Smith (Nicole) of Enterprise. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
