She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Merchant and Minnie Jackson Merchant; her husband Douglas Paul; and her brother Ralph Merchant (James Merchant) of Bonifay, Florida. She is survived by: her children, Jack Paul (Claudine) of Vernon, Don Paul (Caryl) of Tulsa, Kathy Goddin (John), Rhonda Randall (Michael) of Burleson and Barry Paul (Judy) of Boston, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Danny, Brandon, Chris, Sean, Jeffrey, Angela, Amy, Brian, Kristie, Kelli, Benjamin, Hannah, Magon and Miranda; her sister Frances Harrison (Ronald) of Bonifay; and her sisters-in-law, Jone Merchant of Bonifay and Betty Merchant. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren.
