She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Webster Helms and Ida Cain Helms; and her daughter Sheryl Remmel. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Youngs of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her grandchildren, Joey Arroyo (Sandy) of Dothan, Douglas Remmel of Ponce de Leon, Florida and Shari Warner of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Seth (Jordyn), Shelton Arroyo of Dothan, Steven Kyle Warner of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Hannah Bruner of Dothan, Alabama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
