He is survived by: his wife Dale Paulk Rushing; his children, Diana Rushing Gillis (Kevin), Sherry Rushing, Clay Sellers, Bill, Chelsea Edwards Standland (Seth), Chase Edwards, Caleb Sellers and Carly Sellers; and his siblings, Betty Griggs (Monroe), Myrtle Rushing (Herbert), Thomas Rushing (Marsha), James Rushing (Charlene) and Gary Rushing (Jeanie). He is also survived by numerous relatives; and wonderful friends.
